This undertaking is a restrictive covenant in which an employee must abide by during the employment and after it for a certain period. The employee pledges not to disclose confidential information to third parties, join a competitor company, or solicit the customers or the employees of the employer.

In the case of any breach of this undertaking, the employee will be held liable and must indemnify the employer against any losses or damages. It is preferred to include a list of the competing companies at the end of this undertaking in order to achieve a clearer view of the employee’s obligations. |
