A self-employed contractor is appointed by a company to perform sale services. This agreement sets the terms and conditions that govern the parties’ relationship.
In addition to the compensation, the contractor is entitled to commission on the transaction concluded.
This agreement does not establish an employment relationship between the contractor and the company, a contractor is engaged by the company to perform a specific service without being entitled to any employment benefits under the UAE Labour Law.
According to Article 872 of Federal Law No. 5 of 1985 on the Civil Transactions Law (as amended), a contract for work is one by virtue of which one of the parties undertakes to do a piece of work in consideration of a remuneration which the other party undertakes to pay.
