This notice is used by an employer when a former employee has acted in a manner that breaches the continuing non-compete covenant.
Pursuant to article 10 of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 Regarding the Regulation of Employment Relationships and its amendments, the non-competition period shall be a maximum of two years after the expiry date of the employment contract.
The non-compete clause would not be valid if the employer terminates the employment contract in violation of the provisions of the labor law.
