A contractor uses this letter to inform the other party that due to unforeseen events there will be an increase in the cost of the project. The contractor has the right to claim for additional payment to complete the project as such event was not expected nor was it mentioned in the agreement.
The contractor must specify the circumstance that took place to justify the claim for additional payment.
