This Loan Request Letter is used by a prospective borrower to a potential lender asking the lender to put up a proper proposal to the borrower. It seeks to formalise contact that the two parties should already have had, possibly by telephone, email or in a face-to-face meeting, where the borrower has discussed their financing needs with the lender. This letter seeks to put the borrower’s request for a loan in a more formal context.
The letter sets out the growth objectives of the borrower and the desire for a loan in order to finance this growth. It invites the prospective lender to put together a financing proposal along the lines that the parties are likely to have informally agreed.
This letter is intended for use in the United Arab Emirates.
