Description

This release is governed by Federal Decree-Law No. 9 of 2022 Concerning Domestic Workers (as amended). A schedule of the domestic workers professions is annexed to Cabinet Decision No. 106 of 2922 Regarding the Executive Regulations of Federal Decree-Law No. 9 of 2022 Concerning Domestic Workers. This schedule consists of 19 domestic workers professions such as farmers, housekeepers, and cooks..

In addition, the following ministerial decisions regulate the profession of domestic workers:

  • Ministerial Decision No. 674/2022 On the Regulation of the Labour Relationships for Domestic Workers.
  • Ministerial Decision No. 675/2022 On the Payment of the Salaries for Some Domestic Workers’ Professions Through the Wages Protection System.
  • Ministerial Decision No. 676/2022 On Licensing and Regulating the Work of Domestic Labour Recruitment Agencies.
