The UAE cabinet has approved the issuance of the law on equal wages and salaries for men and women to ensure that women have equal opportunities as partners in the UAE’s development, and to further empower women to lead future national strategies and ambitious projects.

The Law No.2 of 2015 against Discrimination and Hatred makes it unlawful to discriminate against anyone on the grounds of religion, belief, sect, faith, creed, race, colour or ethnic origin.

Equally, if an employee discriminates against a colleague, agent, or client, the employer may, be held responsible for such acts and its consequences.
