This letter should be used in conjunction with the Final Unauthorised Absence Letter which confirms the employee’s implied resignation where the employee has not responded to the First Unauthorised Absence Letter.

In accordance with article 120(j) of the UAE Employment Law: "An employer may dismiss an employee without notice if the employee absents from his work without a valid reason for more than 20 non-consecutive days or more than seven consecutive days.
